Thanks to the accompaniment of our archaeologists, and of the visori 3D recently added to the Museum's collection, travellers will experience aimmersive experience of virtual reality guided by the voice of Aponus, a deity associated with the healing waters of the thermal basin. In particular, they will be able to delve deeper into the waters' journey to the surface and discover how they were used by the Venetians and later the Romans, from the muddy shores of a lake to the luxurious settings of the baths and villa on Via Neroniana, all the way to the modern pools of today's spas.

Euganean, passengers will be able to visit the Museum in person, further delving into the history of the "Aquae Patavinae”, in which people from all walks of life, often after long journeys, immersed themselves to find a cure for illnesses and ailments, then donating, as a sign of gratitude to the deities who patronized the springs, objects that in some cases have survived to the present day and are now kept in the Museum.

The initiative is by the FS Foundation, FS Treni Turistici Italiani and Duegi Editrice and sees the involvement of Consorzio Terme Colli Marketing and Federalberghi Terme Abano Montegrotto.

The "Spa Train”, an initiative that is part of Trenitalia's tourist trains and is destined to become
permanent, will also travel on Valentine's Day weekend, from February 14 to 16, 2025.

The Museum of Thermalism and the Territory is located in Montegrotto Terme, at Via Enrico Fermi 1. It is open Fridays from 3 pm to 6 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm.
