The museum del termalismo antico e del territorio presents its proposal for schools at the Euganean Hills Education Day scheduled for Tuesday 8 September from 2 pm at Villa dei Vescovi (Luvigliano di Torreglia)
Also this year the Museo del termalismo antico e del territorio of Montegrotto Terme is participating in the Euganean Hills Education Day, now in its third edition and scheduled for Tuesday 8 September 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Villa dei Vescovi in Luvigliano di Torreglia (Padua).
The event is dedicated to teachers of schools of all levels and to all operators interested in school and educational tourism: travel agencies, educators and professionals in the sector.
In particular, our museum will present its educational proposals for schools starting from laboratori Aimed at children and young people, customizable based on the different needs and accessibility requirements of the participants, up to guided tours dedicated to them to discover the museum or nearby archaeological sites.
At the stand, it will also be possible to try out 3D viewers that enrich the story of the Aquae Patavinae through an immersive experience in the history and culture of spas and the Euganean region. This is an opportunity to learn more about the tools and methods the museum uses to bring ancient history to schools, making it accessible and engaging for new generations.
The Educational Day—organized by Villa dei Vescovi and the MuCE (Museum of the Euganean Hills), with the patronage of the Euganean Hills Regional Park and the Province of Padua, and the organizational support of the Destinazione Terme e Euganean Hills (Spas and Euganean Hills Destination)—is a networking initiative that this year involves 27 cultural entities in the Euganean Hills, offering an opportunity for discussion and discovery of activities designed to help children and young people learn about the historical, cultural, and naturalistic heritage of the MAB UNESCO Euganean Hills Biosphere Reserve.
