Accompanied by professional archaeologists and art historians, children will be able to experience the various phases of an archaeologist's work and learn about mythology in the spaces of the Thermal Museum.
Starting today, June 9th, until July 4th tsummer camps with an archaeological theme decorate the museum organized by Lapis, the association that manages it on behalf of the Municipality of Montegrotto Terme. “The myths of the ancients” the theme which this year will guide the participants to the Discover history and archaeology through games and educational workshops and, precisely, the tale of myths connected to the territory and the ancient world, from Egypt to the Greeks and Romans.
A safe and protected space where the little participants, accompanied by professional archaeologists and art historians They will be able to experience the different phases of an archaeologist's work and learn about mythology in a dimension that combines culture, fun, and socializing.
Aimed at children aged 6 to 11, the proposal is structured in four different shifts of one week each: from June 9th to 13th, from June 16th to 20th, from June 23rd to 27th, and finally from June 30th to July 4th. Two options to choose from: full day, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (with packed lunch), or half day, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The cost The weekly fee for non-resident children is €100 for a full day and €60 for a half day; for residents, it's €70 for a full day and €40 for a half day. Individual days can also be booked for €20.
The activities will take place inside the museum (each activity is linked to a walk through the museum rooms) and in the outdoor spaces of the surrounding park.
