Luca is a modern-day boy who lives in Mezzavia, Montegrotto Terme. One day, while snooping around in the attic, he finds an old book, "Tales of Trachyte," that his grandfather Giuseppe had discovered in the Bonetti quarries where he worked. Luca opens the book and suddenly finds himself in another world! Through Luca's adventures, the children will discover the history of trachyte and how it has been used from prehistory to the present day. The meeting will be supported by worksheets that will be sent to teachers for classwork.
