MONTEGROTTO TERME 2500 YEARS BEFORE

series of conferences at Museo del termalismo antico e del territorio

The Museo del termalismo antico e del territorio of Montegrotto Terme and the City of Montegrotto Terme present a series of four meetings during which the public will be accompanied in a tale of the Euganean territory between myth and history. The meetings will be coordinated by Prof. Lorenzo Braccesi (University of Padua).

  • Friday, May 5th, 6:00 PM – “Between myth and history” with Lorenzo Braccesi (University of Padua)
  • Friday, May 12, 6:00 PM – “Between Venetians and Romans” with Francesca Veronese (director of the Civic Museums of Padua)
  • Friday, May 19, 6:00 PM – “The Foreign Invader” with Lorenzo Braccesi (University of Padua)
  • Friday, May 26, 6:00 PM – “Thermal waters and health cults” with Maddalena Bassani (IUAV University of Venice)

The meetings will be held in the Museum garden at 6:00 PM. A small aperitif will be offered after each meeting. Admission is free; confirmation is appreciated.
