April 8, 2025

The workshops involved children from the Don Milani, I. Nievo, and Ruzzante primary schools, and a group of students from the Vivaldi middle school. The final event will take place on Saturday, April 12th.

Saturday, April 12th Museum of Thermalism Antico e del Territorio opens the doors to the final stage of the "Thaleia” (acronym for Theatre Alive Experience to Innovate Audience), the project by Talea Teatro and TOP-Teatri Off Padova which sees the Municipality of Montegrotto Terme and the Lapis association as partners.

To the cycle of workshops, left in February, Four classes from the Don Milani, I. Nievo, and Ruzzante primary schools, along with a group of students from the Vivaldi middle school, participated, for a total of 74 children and young people. Now, all the young participants will be the protagonists of the final event, which will also see them serve as museum guides for their families, accompanying adults in discovering the artifacts and the history of the "aquae patavinae."

Saturday morning will open with the screening of the video “It happens”: a tale told by the youngest visitors of their experience, which began as a game, translating into drawings the ideas gathered about water, and in particular thermal water, a defining element of the Euganean area, and evolved into a true theatrical "exercise" through experimentation with new forms of expression.

This will be followed by the performance “The Secret of the Ancient Waters”, the result of a journey that combined local knowledge with exploration of the art of theater, proving to be an important opportunity for growth and socialization for participants. The protagonists will be middle school students, who will offer an original and immersive guided tour of the museum to the audience of families and teachers.

The event is reserved for students and their families, so on Saturday, April 12th, the museum will be open to the public only in the afternoon.
